The Media Mouse (shown here as Poppy the deer mouse) is ready to go outdoors to the Courtyard Garden. Third grade classes have been making observations of the garden since last fall. As the seasons change, so does the activity in the garden.

This is terrific, Mrs. Williams. It will be fun to see what the mouse discovers as spring arrives. Rock on!! - Mrs. Markes @ RMS

Mrs. Erdmann's class was out in the garden on March 27th and Salecia saw pine tree needles have two different colors now. Max saw clusters of something that looks like brown marbles. Jennifer saw little white things on the pine trees. Cody saw a wound on the birch tree and green slimy stuff coming ftom the wound. Evan saw two dead birds. One a crow and the other was a cardinal. Mariana saw that the grass was getting greener. Joe noticed that the temperature was getting warmer in the garden. Dylan saw that there are more things in the lab garden. Amari saw a baby green plant coming up because the sun was on it. Mariah saw plants that look dead but they are not really dead. Johanna saw that the crow was 7 inches long. Brenda saw little green plants in the butterfly garden. Jannilet saw little red berries on the tree. Salecia found a pencil that was under the snow.
